Nothing heavy today, I thought sharing a couple good jokes would lighten your spirits and help wrap up the workweek with a smile. Hey - we at SLM don't believe in being long-faced, long-suffering, woe-is-me-and-the-whole-world-sucks Christians. We have fun! Mildred, the church gossip and self-appointed arbitrator of the church's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's business. Several members were unappreciative of her activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence.
She made a mistake, however, when she accused George, a new member, of being an alcoholic after she saw his pickup truck parked in front of the town's only bar one afternoon.
She commented to George and others that everyone seeing it there would know what he was doing.
George, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just walked away. He didn't explain, defend, or deny, he said nothing.
Later that evening, George quietly parked his pickup in front of Mildred's house and left it there all night.

After God created Adam's body, he zapped him with life, and Adam woke up for the first time. God said, "Adam, I have some good news for you, and some bad news."
Adam, rubbing his eyes, yawning and stretching, sat up and said, "Okay, God, what's the good news?"
God said, "I have given you both a powerful brain, and a highly sensitive and pleasureful penis."
"Great!" Adam exclaimed, standing erect and getting used to the feel of his body, "But I don't get it ... what's the bad news?"
"I only equipped you with enough blood supply to operate one at a time."

Something that made me smile this morning on FB
Woke up with my wife screaming in the middle of the night and a thump...I thought we were being robbed or something....grab blunt object, proceed forward stumbling...said "Hello"..."Who's there?" No answer. I'm not sure where I was going with that conversation
